Difference of opinion in the office.

Safeguard request from a tenant with no obvious involvement of the landlord.

Safeguard is refused and we write to the tenant to inform them. Should we write to the landlord as well?

    All views welcome.

    Thanks

Tough one. The landlord has not been a party to the request so why involve them would be one argument. But if an appeal is made to the Tribunal, how can you possibly exclude the landlord? Perhaps you can resolve the latter by seeking directions…..
