    Again wiseheads needed.

An award of JSA(IB) ends 17/9/06, HB/CTB award ends 24/9/06.

If an award of JSA[C] ends (Sunday) 17/9/06, giving that it is treated as a standard claim; when do we end HB/CTB.

Please direct me to useful circulars as well!

    Thanks
    MB.

In both cases the change occurs on the Monday as they are paid for the Sunday so therefore 24. (PS the claim does not end in either case at that stage but I am sure you are aware of that)

Just to clarify; in the first scenario (JSA/IB), the claim may have to be terminated. It will depend on whether [b:412035ea77]HBR 77[/b:412035ea77] applies.

Other than that, I agree with Sean.

I beg to differ! If JSA(IB) or IS ends and an EPP is appropriate the date of change would be 17 September (HBR 77) as the change is taken to have occurred at the end of the benefit week in which it was last paid, not (as is usual) the next day.

How do I know this? I was picked up by my own staff on a training session I gave and had to go and look it up! Just as well somebody knows what they’re doing.

Er, and this even longer thread….

I still stand by my earlier post in conjunction with my analysis on the “1772” thread. Er, guess that means a CD is just around the corner saying precisely the opposite…..
