    Hi

We have created EPPs using CTR adjustment successfully for CTR claims where the EPP starts after 1 April.

However, when an EPP spans the dates 31 March and 1 April, does anyone know how to award the EPP from 1 April for the CTR award?   Using CTR adjustment does not seem to work in these cases because the adjustment has no previous CTR award to work from.

EPPs for HB and CTB work by looking at previous entitlement and if none exists an override on the EPP maintenance screen needs to be used. As there is no previous entitlement for CTR it can’t work it out and there is override/amount field for CTR Adjustments on EPPs. A bug I think! Probably best to log it with NG

    Thanks for your reply

Northgate have responded advising that as CTR previous period adjustments will not work and as the transitional period will create a short term issue, there advice is to use “a minimum adjustment” with “an amount of the CTB award”.

We will give this a go.

    Thanks

    Hi
When you input the amount of the adjustment for the EPP is the amount you enter in the adjustment screen the additonal weekly amount or the total amount that of CTR EPP that you want to award. I think it’s weekly but just wanted to check before I input the few I have

    thanks

Just checking, as we’ve now had our first of these. When Northgate say to use “a minimum adjustment” do they mean a manual adjustment for the weekly difference between CTR awarded, and the CTB amount that the EPP wants to award?

There are different types of addustments you can set-up. Additional Entitlement, Capped Adjustment, Minimum Adjustment and Previous Entitlement.

What the minimum one means is that is the least it will award. Full details are in the CTR Admin guide.

Thanks Darren. I’ll speak to our system admin person and check the guide.
