    IDS says in the article above that scare stories about homelessness are nonsense but then he falls back on his own scare story about families receiving £100,000 benefits. He’s quite happy to peddle scare stories about cases that are extremely few and far between to justify his policy which will affect tens of thousands of people but arrogantly brushes aside any criticism that he receives as scare-mongering.
