Now that LA determines if a claimant is entitled to an extended payment , i wondered what other LA do regarding the condition that work is expected to last for 5 weeks or more.
do you always ask that question when you receive a ETD

where five weeks have already passed , do you asume that job was expected to last for 5 or more weeks without customers statement if no further passporting claim is made ?

Not sure whether or not this is ‘correct’ but I always assume the DWP ended the person’s benefit because there is an expectation that the work would last for 5 weeks or more…

I assume it is part of the DWP’s criteria to ask the question ‘how long is the work expected to last?’ before ending the benefit.

However, we all know what assumption is the mother of.
