    Hi
    cliamant commenced work in july and i have rcvd fax from dwp to say he is or should have been entitled to epp. have now awarded epp but have now been told he actually went back on to jsa within the epp period checked via dwp cis and this correct.
    should he be awarded the epp. he never replied or submitted in work claim so we were not aware if he should get epp or not at the time the jsa ended and now he is back on jsa.

    The fact that he was back on JSA within the EPP time is not really relevant as long the job was initially expected to last for at least 5 weeks. It looks to me like it must have been for DWP to contact you saying he is entitled to the EPP.
