    We receive an ETD stating IS/JSA has ceased as starting remunerative work. Etd then goes on to say “HBRO conditions satisfied”.

    Do other LA’s award Extended Payments purely on this or do they contact the customer to check the employment is expected to last for 5 weeks?

    We pay the extended payment on the basis of the information on the ETD. And continue to be amused that the DWP refer to extended payments as “run on”.

    We also pay on this info. For the message to appear on ETDs as far as I was aware they had already ticked the box on the DWP form stating that the job would last for over 5 weeks.

    Thats great – thanks. It was just that the Guidance Manual etc was a bit woolly on the process.
