    Is anybody proposing to use Fraud Act 2006 for benefit fraud? Has anyone had any good training they can recommend?

    Interestingly I was on a course this week whereby the trainer suggested we should be looking to prosecute using the Fraud Act 2006. None of the LAs attending the course do and having surveyed my closest LA neighbours – none of them do either. I’ll be talking with my legal colleague next week as we are very much driven by their recommendations on which offences to use. If I get any further I will post again.

    Why would you use the Fraud Act when most offences are covered by Social Security Admin Act?
