    Application received today 14.09.06 and tenancy start date is 18.09.06.

    Can I pay claim today or as it is a future tenancy on Monday contact the person to confirm she moved in on the Monday ?

    Yes, wait and get written confirmation of the date they moved in – this then becomes date of claim.
