    Reading through the above circular I just wanted to get a view on the section Implementation and impact on LA’s.

    My understanding is that any evidence required to process a HB/CTB claim (except rent) must not be requested until the Primary benefit has been awarded. Then the BPC will forward any evidence to us.

    How are LA’s going to deal with this or are you just taking this as guidance and still requesting the info ie bank statements etc (non-passported benefit JSAC or IB)???
