    Just received the latest bulletin, G2, from DWP and it highlights a bit of a cock up by Pension Service in their uprating of state pensions which have an Invalidity Addition.This error will mean that associated pension credit cases will be also be wrong with incorrect ETDs and suchlike flying around.They claim that the numbers are small, 20k cases across the UK,. so that’s some consolation.Won’t help them much in their efforts to clear their new claim backlogs, up to 10 weeks and rising in some parts of the country.

    I saw a report about a city in America where unemployment is rising rapidly and the only jobs on offer are ….working for the unemployment and benefits offices who are swamped with new customers.

    Sad but true.
