Please Help
We have a claimant that is still awaiting her student loan. She has been told that there is a delay in the process at the moment but once it has been delt with she will received a lump sum for the months they have missed then carry on with there normal payment scheme.
My question is how do we as in housing benefit calculate this. Do we use the lump sum as capital and then from the first full month input it as income, or do we go all the way back to september ignoring the fact that they received no monies for that period and calculated as income.
