    Hello

I have a claim where the landlords are a housing association.

The tenancy which has been created is an assured, shorthold tenancy which was initially for 6 months.
A deposit of 1 months rent was paid upon signing the agreement and moving in.

Its been input as a HA claim – the rent exceeds the LHA rate by about £4.00 a week.
Its not over accommodated so can’t refer for those reasons.
Im not sure it should be treated as HA tenure type (we on northgate) as its a “standard” private tenacy -0 but I don’t know why I think this or what regs etc Im referring to – I could well be making things up as I go along…

    I don’t think its HA
Im not sure whether it should be refrred but I don’;t think so
Can a HA landlord ever be assessed under LHA rules??

Your wisdom is – as always- greatly appreciated.

Well seems that settles it. Not LHA, it’s a HA claim and can be referred, if the cap fits. £4 higher than LHA rate? I would let sleeping dogs lie.
