I’m trying to gauge what is a reasonable number of daily intervention visits for visiting officers.

Our staff carry out 8 visits per day – they also prepare all their own admin work so they have a week in the office preparing visits followed by a week out visiting.

    What’s everyone else doing?

Our staff carry out between 14 and 16 visits per day. All pre and post admin work is done by a dedicated admin team. One admin to two visitors. This seems to work very well.

We are setting up a visiting team and expect them to do 10 visits per day (they will receive admin support). However, we are only assuming a successful hit rate of 50%. Is this the norm?

We currently notify all our visits, and have an effective rate of 80%.

We conduct on average 8 visits per day – most of which are notified or generated from receipt of a postal check. Admin prep the visiting officers -also to note, we are relatively rural.
