We are think of creating a logo for all the changes to welfare reform. This would then be used on all leaflets posters web sites etc.

A bit like Southwarks "benefits are changing"

Is anybodyelse thinking of the same thing and/or willing to share their ideas

I know it is a serious question Simon…but the mind boggles. With so many cuts affecting so many people, homeless applications soaring, food kitchens in usually affluent areas….

Pictures of a bus shelter, “your new home”, spring to mind.

    Sorry Simon :((

How about: “Read it and weep”.

or “IDS does not intend to let people rot on benefits”! Then you can open up with:
“Govt research indicates people will rot a lot quicker if benefits are reduced/wihdwrawn, so why prolong the agony? Look people, they’re doing you a favour, here”. – Should go down well! 🙁

Or how about “Benefits are changing”? I doubt it’s copyrighted.

Might be an idea to write the leaflets in pencil and provide recipients with an eraser, so that they can record the myriad changes likely to take place before the reforms are due to commence.

Yes, we know it’s not your fault, but………….

Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen nineteen and six, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery. The blossom is blighted, the leaf is withered, the god of day goes down upon the dreary scene, and—and in short you are for ever floored.

“Benefits are changing, though what into and when and how this will effect you in real time we do not really have a clue but as soon as we know we may tell you or hold off in case this changes too”

    Long, but accurate.

Reminds me of the voiceover in Anchorman:

“Bob Dylan once wrote, The times, they are a-changin Ron Burgundy had never heard that song.”

I doubt most claimants have heard benefits are changing either, or have paid any attention.
