    Me again,
    I have recently terminated a claim as we had paid benefit for 26 weeks following a relationship breakdown. The marital home is still not on the market for sale, and is not occupied by elderly/disabled or lone parent.
    I don’t think there is any other way I can continue to pay this customer. Any suggestions?!

    Looks like all the options for disregard are closed off, but as Stainsby frequently points out, expect to be surprised by the valuation: it might not be a lot.

    Somewhere in the back of my mind is the concept of disregarding property while there are maintenance/divorce proceedings going on. The Decision Makers Guide on DWP website goes into a lot of detail on this.
    (Memo – I find their guide much more helpful than ours)

    Is there an easy way to to find the DM Guide on the website, and is it easy to find relevant information?
