MATERNITY LEAVE AND CHILD CARE DISREGARD

    morning

    can someone just re-assure me on this. Customer incapacitated, partner on maternity leave, with child care costs included in wtc/ctc award.

    Maternity payments end after 26 weeks, but customer continues to receive child care costs with child tax credits. System wants to end child care disregard, but according to new reg 28 (14)(b)(iii), we can continue to disregard for as long as she receives tax credits which include child care costs. Am i reading it right?

    anwer my own question, i missed the whichever shall occur first bit, child care disregard ends when maternity leave ends
