Anyone have experience of mixed sex doing 2+2?

A couple could come along tyou and tell you that they are merely friends, its perfectly possible.

But what if it turns out that they are sharing more than a kettle?

The only thing i can think of is to get a letter signed by both of them confirming that they are not a couple.

    thoughts?

That sounds like a question for an entirely different forum 8)

There is really no reason why this should be any different from any other joint tenancy between two individuals – same sex partnerships could cause the same potential problem so do you get 2 blokes to sign a letter stating they are not a couple?

There is also the possibility that things will change – you can’t ask them to sign something confirming they won’t “fall for each other” in the future!

Besides, once they have signed the agreements they are liable for the amounts stated – if they do turn out to be a couple, they still owe you the same amount of rent.
