    I need a point clarified for a colleague who is new to Pension Credits. I refer to a memo from SX3 dated 15.10.03 regarding instructions for reporting income to HBMS.

    When the memo talks about entering the ‘info only flag’ against the PCMAIF – does this mean the total income or the actual income that is being modified.

    The case in question has a war pension which is disregarded in full by my authority.

    AIF is 118.12 (WDP 123.72 less Gov dis of 10.00 and SP of 4.40)

    The starting point for this has to be what the actual income taken into account should be. Personally, I think the Sx3 instructions are nonsense so you’ll have to come up with something sensible. If you take a look at this earlier thread you’ll see what I was suggesting before and it still seems to work OK now:
