I am dealing with a claim for someone under 60 who makes regular payments into a private pension plan with aviva & its current value is almost £16,000.
The statement provided staes there is a cash equivalent figure available & she may be able to transfer this to another ‘suitable contract’

I am not sure if we disgregard this as capital or not 🙁

What it means is that she can transfer the plan to another pension scheme/provider.

ie it would still be a pension
