More than one change of circumstances in the same week!!

    A claimant has a rent increase which is actioned from the monday. A fortnight later the LA is notified that a non dependant moved into the property on the friday of the same week the rent increase occurred.

    If I had two changes that occurred in the same week I would normally action them from the monday (date of the rent increase). However as they are being dealt with at different times should they still be looked at as two changes that occur in the same week?

    I World has done this, but is it correct?

    I think the system is correct here.
    You rightly say that if two changes have occured in the same week they happen from the date of the rent increase.
    Here, they have occurred in the same week, it’s just that you have entered them to the system on different weeks.
    The principle is still the same. 8) 😉
