Non Dep Deductions and the Transition Scheme / Default Scheme

    It does not really change anything at my Borough (we are setting NDDs at 0% so semi abolishing them) but to be eligible for the transition scheme you must approve the default scheme with minor amendments (eg maximum no less than 8.5%) and reasonable Non Dep Deductions.

    DCLG said that NDDs for the default scheme and pensioners would be based on what they would have been if CTB had remained.

    So why the massive discrepancy with HB?

    HB NDDs are increasing by over 18%. CTR NDDs are only going up 10%
