We have today received a November pension credit scan with 3 cases on it. Whilst I am relieved that there are only 3 on it – I am confused as I thought that the October scan was to be the last one.

    Any ideas anyone?

We’ve just got the Novemebr scan on as well, but with 4 cases. I ha initially presumed that these are ones that with typical bureaucratic ability the Pension Service forgot to add onto the October scan, but some of them had changes from late October 2004.

Could they be clerical claims – therefore no ETD?

Wasn’t the Nov scan a “belt and braces” solution? The fix was supposed to be in Oct, but they ran it for an additional month to pick up any “stragglers”. My understanding was that the Nov Scan would include information that should have come via ETD anyway, and it was up to LA’s to check them if they wanted to make sure none were missed.

With 3 or 4 cases I assume you checked them out?

There’s another post with the dates on it somewhere on this message board (but I can’t find it)…

Yes we did check them – however, I would be grateful if you could tell me how and when you were informed of this as I seem to have missed it. There are so many different sources of info received from the DWP lately that I either didn’t see it or more worryingly didn’t get it!

This is a post referring to it. I can’t remember actually getting anything in writing though …

The circular A11/2004 detailed when the fix would be done.

Hope that is what you meant.
