Hi

My site is currently reviewing its Corporate IT structure and one of the options will be to centralise IT Staff.

Crucial to the smooth running of our service is having a Controls Team as part of the service (reports, scripts, reconciliation, systems admin etc)

I’d be keen to hear if your site has a team as part of your service or whether you have to call on a central IT department for basic back office system tasks / issues

We have a Development & Control team as part of Revs & Benefits which are responsible for new releases, system admin, system balancing etc. They work closely with our main IT Section who are still involved in our work

We have a Systems Team in Revs and Bens (one Senior Systems Officer, 4 Systems Officers and 2 Testing Officers)
