    Morning guys
have new claim where cliamant is over 18 and partner is 17. both are now working and the question arose do we take account of partner income as she under 18. our thinking was you did but cannot find in the regs as to how to treat this income.
the easy option was just to put her income on and see how i world treated it!

If they are a couple then you use the income from both members of that couple. The fact that she is under 18 does not make any difference to that. Load both lots of earnings onto iworld and it will calculate benefit based on a couple, no problem.

HBR 25 (I think!) provides that a partner’s income shall be taken into account.
