I got a message in my inbox this morning. It was an attempt to get me to disclose my credit card details. It purported to come from an organisation called PAYPAL.
(This is a payment service used commonly in on-line auctions.)
Fact is, it was an attempted scam to get me to hand over valuable personal info.
Reason I’m posting this message here is that I believe that the scam-sters got my email address from this site.
Its the only place on the internet where my work email is displayed (in my profile).
Just a warning to others – I might not be the only one who got this message.
