Have a pensioner who has made their first HB/CTB claim for their current address. But, they have only recently moved to the address they are now claiming from, so the 52 week “treat as made” spans the old address (for which they have not claimed benefit) and the new. Checking the reg, it doesn’t mention anything about address changes for qualifying for the 52 weeks, so kind of thinking we are ok to pay the 52 weeks regardless of address: any opinions? Thanks

I agree that you are fine to span addresses – provided there is no break in the entitlement (i.e. liability at new address follows directly on from the old one, which I guess it probably will). 😉
