    Have I lost the plot.

    I can find reg 29 of the Hb and CTb (State PC) regulations 2003 that states PC aged claimants could have their claim for Hb/CTb backdated 52 weeks if made before 06 October 2004 (no need to consider backdating). I thought this had been extended and still applied but can’t find it anywhere.

    It’s like herding cats, this.

    The HB and CTB Regs have got this provision in different places: for HB it’s Reg 64(1) – the main “date of claim” Reg. But for CTB it’s all by itself in Reg 56, after the main “date of claim” Reg. In both cases, that’s the 60+ version I’m talking about.

    Is that what you mean?
