    Can anyone advise me if the income allowance for permitted work has altered since it’s introduction in April 2002.

    Eg: work less than 16 hrs and earn no more than £66 per week and the income is ignored.

    Ignored for IB purposes, I agree.

    However for HB/CTB purposes it is an income subject to appropriate disregards.

    Hope this helps.

    The current level for permitted work is £81, up from £78 in April.

    I’m sorryI can’t help with intervening period, but I can’t think why you need such a long period (Permitted work usually lasts max 52 weeks)
