RAT Replacement (CIS) Access

    We were due to go live on the replacement RAT system from today (22/5/06) but have so far been unable to access the new Customer Information System (CIS).

    Has any other authority experienced any similar problems accessing CIS?

    We were also due to go live today and have not been able to access. It appears there is some kind of fault with the Glasgow link!!!!

    I’ve just spoken to the DWP and they’ve advised CIS is currently unavailable, an e-mail has apparently recently been issued by LAST, I presume this would be issued to the Government Gateway user but not yet received.

    Any other authority experiencing problems accessing CIS?

    Well amazing CIS is fully functional this morning, which I wasn’t expecting.

    And its been been functional on some sites since December last year, except for the odd blip. But we have noticed that every occassion that some more sites come on-line, there are possible access problems
    (In his product endorsement voice 😉 😳 ) It really works!! 😯

    and no child benefit details either. That said, we went live today with no problems, its going to take a bit of getting used to but appears to be a major advance on the RAT.

    Will CIS allow you to see if a claimant has put an application in even if it has not been awarded? 😕
