claimant here under refugee status, been in country 3 years( sri lankan). moved to our area recently and started work from 04.11.11 with Tesco’s. His partner arrived in August 2011 with 2 children. she has a nino. Her passport shows permission to enter UK but nothing else( she’s working). They received child benefit for the children.

Do we need to question anything here?

Some of the staff who have been on a PFA course believe that we should do a HRT test but i am not convinced ( i haven’t been on a PFA course though, just read notes and look on HBinfo!)

the address they have moved to seems to be a haven for sri lankans who seem to turn up, stay for 6 months then move on.

    Perhaps I’m missing something but…

If he actually has “refugee” status then this will give him leave to remain so no HRT required. (As he has been here 3 years, he’d pass it anyway!)
Confused as to rationale for doing HRT?
