Hi could anyone advise if they have an agreement on the best way to deal with a customer on HB who is currently in arrears with their rent account and also has an outstanding overpayment?
If the customer is on a state benefit that allows the Housing Department to apply for arrears direct, but there is also an ongoing recovery of an overpayment then the rent debt becomes static if the recovery levels are both set at £3.25 (as of new financial year).
Does anyone have an agreement where there is a hierachy or arrangement in place where this can be worked around?
