I’m after some opinion from other LAs on how they verify residency at an address.
We have been carrying out residency checks by visiting the propetry, usually un-announced, with varying rates of success.
We regularly ask for utilities or aother documerntation registered at the address but it is more and more apparent that our customers cannot provide this information for one reason or another.
