self employed on AIF

    We have been notified by DWP that PG has ceased and now on AIF with a self employed income, DWP have based the earnings on year ending 31.03.09. we would normally be asking for year ending 31.03.10 accounts now but because they have already done the assessment (May 10) do we have to leave on for a set period or are we ok to follow up in say a few months time. There are no notes on CIS to say when or if it will be followed up, not seen this before!

    What will you do with the new accounts? He’s on an AIF so you have to go with these figures regardless of any new paperwork you get for a later period.
    I would suggest using the AIF and just notify TPS that they may want to review the s/e income.
