None of us could possibly sign this.  Poor Man

Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen nineteen and six, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery. The blossom is blighted, the leaf is withered, the god of day goes down upon the dreary scene, and—and in short you are for ever floored.

In fairness to IDS he probably never has to put his hand in his pocket so no doubt he’d invest the £53 per week with those honest brokers the Bankers

Needs to be over a fortnight not a week, with NO previous food in the fridge, no access to savings, a £200 gas/electricity bill and living in a 8.5% (or even a 20%) CTR borough.

If he agrees then it will be on tv and for a week (I expect he may – just before October). Think Portillo.
