Please could someone confirm the following for me.
A claimant was receiving SSP and WTC with the 30 hour element. SSP has now ended after 28 weeks and they are now getting ESA. The customer is still receiving WTC with the 30 hour element. After speaking with the HMRC they have advised that WTC with the 30 hour element should end after 28 weeks but in this case it continues to be paid as they have not been informed that SSP has ended.
am i right to think that as long as the customer is getting the 30 hour element (even though they shouldn’t) they should still get the additional earning disregard
