I would appreciate any advice or guidance that anyone has on the following:

A Lone Parent NC Student who receives a bursary made up of travel and higher maintenance payments – she was also working 16 hrs pw and receives WTC & CTC.

I have been advised by the local college that from Aug 08 she should have been receiving a £20 disregard from her WTC.

I have not heard of this can anyone advise of this and where I can find the guidance.

dunno about £20 but she would qualify for the additional earnings disregsard of £16.05 as she is working 16 hrs and a lone parent. And if that exceeded her earnings it would be disregarded off her wtc.
