I have had a student (incap) claim where the uni have paid a discretionary bursary re books and travel

I think it is a grant in all but name (as issued by a uni not a LA) and as relating to books/travel, i have therefore disregarded it

Just settling a discussion between myself and a team leadet that this is ok!!

If the bursary is specifically for books and travel it is disregarded. Reg 63(1).
