    Hi All,
I’ve got a customer currently living off his capital holdings. At the moment I’m assessing his income as £14.00/week tariff income from the capital.
However, I wondered: is there another provision within the Regs for assessing the claimant’s income as an average of his [i:537190bada]drawings[/i:537190bada] from the capital (which could be much higher i.e. £100.00/week) rather than just on the tariff income?

Any insights gratefully welcomed, as are stodgy cakes and biscuits.

Have you tried Sainsbury’s Apricot Wheats (a breakfast cereal) eaten by the fistful straight out of the packet? The subsidy officer’s only friend.

CH/3393/2003 in the Caselaw section on this site may be of some assistance?

my thanks to both of you, for the CD and for the apricot wheats – will have to try them (although “by the fistful” sounds a little worrying… 😆 )
