TAS1 form

    It’s a long time since I had to submit an appeal in the “old days” along with the submission there was a letter called TAS1 from the appeals service this explain the appeal procedure to the customer along with the form that they have to complete within 14 days the enquiry form. It has tick boxes on the front showing which office is dealing with the appeal and where they have to send to enquiry form back to. Do we not send this anymore. Do I just give the customer the enquiry form to complete? and then advise them where they need to send it?

    You don’t have to worry about any of that any more – the Tribunal clerks will send the form out from their office. All you have to do is send the appellant a copy of your submission.

    April – I’ve got a covering letter template you can have to send to the appellant with the submission if you like. PM me with your email address and I’ll send it over to you.
