The only fixed payment cycles I am aware of were in use in 2003/4.
For 2004/5 the adelph said this:

2004/5 TAX CREDITS 4 WEEK PAYMENT CYCLES
“The base dates that were provided for 2003/2004 could only be applicable to awards that were processed prior to 6/4/03. Awards processed after that would have a first pay day approximately 28 days after the processing day. This means that NTC has 4 weekly pay days spread across the month.”[/color:888a16bb5f]
I have not seen any plans to start a fixed payment cycle again. There is a mention of a “payment cycle” in circ A5 but I think this just means a 1 or 4 week payment cycle.
