    A couple have just had a child who is the subject of care proceedings and requires the claimant partner and child to be assessed by way of an assessment in a residential unit. The period of absence is stated as being in the region of 16 weeks. With regard to the tempoary absence rules I feel I want to continue paying but not sure that I am able. Would welcome some advice.
