Temporary absence

    Where we are advised that a claimant will be absent from home for more than 13 weeks (or 52 weeks if that rule applies) do we cancel their claim from the date we are aware that they will no longer qualify or the Sunday following?

    That’s probably an obvious question but I’m doubting myself.

    You end the award on the Sunday of the week in which the absence will commence
