Adopted children are included in the household as they have the same rights as a birth child – ok so far.
Fostered children (live with professional foster carers) – the children are not included in the household – still ok with this.

How does kinship work – is this similiar to adoption in so far as we include the child and partially disregard the maintenance fee or is it more akin to fostering.
Are Residence Order payments different to kinship payments and if so how?
Special Guardianship payments – is this more like adoption and the child included as part of the household as they will no longer be in the care of the LA?
I’m confused to say the least
