We have a claimant who is disabled and unable to stay in her housing association home – she is currently in hospital and cannot return to her home.
Her partner and child live with her – he gets guaranteed pension credit and the child is also disabled.
The housing association have found a property suitable for her to live in until they are able to find somewhere appropriate for the whole family. Can we treat them as one household in two properties or must we treat them as if they have separated temporarily? (do a change of address for her and treat her as only receiving DLA and invite husband to claim for him and the daughter) they will reunite in one property as soon as one is found for them.
please help….. 😕
