ParticipantAlso a bit confused about the change of circs stuff and its relation to rent increases. Are all rent increases (social rented sector not LHA because the increase might be academic there) paid from the beginning of the assessment period during which the increase occured ?
If I assume that in my case UC entitlement commences on the 21st January, the first assessment period will end the 20th February and the first payment date is made 7 days (plus 1 month) after the commencement and so I will always be paid on the 28th of each month (I'll come back to that in a mo).
My rent at the point I apply is £100 and so on the 28th Feb I get £433.33 housing costs payment (£100 x 52 / 12) for the period 21st January to 20th February (do I ? or is it for the period 28th January to 27th Februaury not clear on payment/entitlement cycle).
My Landlord increases my rent to £105 from 03/04/17 and I notify it on time. That increase falls into the assessment period ending 20th April 2017 and so for the assessment period 21st March to 20th april my housing costs will be £455.00 (£105×52/12). but I wont actually recieve it until 28th April.
I then move to a different social landlord on the 18th May and the rent is now £90.00 – it too takes effect from the start of the AP and so my housing costs are £390 from 21st April to 20th May and I receive it on the 28th May.
can anyone confirm if I've understood this correctly ?

ParticipantI've added the new full service areas to the map at
https://www.lgbp3.co.uk/ucpc/ucpc.html
It took DWP 35 months to go from 0 to 16% coverage of full service.
In the next 4 months they're aiming to reach 35% – it will be interesting to see how they get on.

Badly?
Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen nineteen and six, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery. ParticipantThat still means though that it will be about 3.5 years before the whole of the UK is on full service, and there is then the issue of migration, and how that will play with 'in work' claimants………………

ParticipantI wonder if the plan is to get UC to far advanced to allow Labour to stop it?

ParticipantTo be fair not just UC, but the whole raft of Welfare Reforms over the past few years.
Anyone from Newcastle on here that confirm any of this?
