Hi all,

Please can I ask what your procedure is on the following.

Where a person vacates and you end CTB – do you send an overpayment letter in respect of the CTB overpayment? As the liability will cease, this is a technical overpayment, so in theory there will not be an overpayment.

It’s not excess benefit as there is no liability.

Not sure what system you use now, if I recall, after Bull LoGoS your LA changed to iWorld/Northgate/SX3 but the system should not be generating any over payments or letters if you end ctax liability and then terminate the CTB.
