What are other LA’s doing with the in work statements that received from DWP?
Some discussion here whether we should use the figure for earnings given by the claimant, put into payment and ask for wage slips?
Alternatively, should award be suspended (possibly after an EP) and remind them of what DWP have told them ie to provide evidence of income?
If the former, are you doing this for new claims ie when you get a new app not accompanied by evidence of income are these put into payment before you get evidence?
