    How do late notified rent increses fit in with the new regs where rent increases are done from the actual day of change. Do we pay from the Monday prior to the notification or treat the notification as the actual change and amend from that day.

    Definitely the latter: treat the change of circs as if it happened on the day it was reported, in accordance with D&A Reg 8(3), then make a superseding decision from that precise day under D&A Reg 8(2) and HB Reg 79(2) (or 60+ equivalent). It’s a case of pretending the rent increased on a later date then dealing with it as you would deal with a rent increase that really did happen on that later date.
