What name are your notifications sent in?

    Hi,

    I am interested in finding out if most authorities send out their notification letters with a general signatory (eg ‘The Benefits Manager’) or do they go out in the name of the assessor who makes that decision?

    Of course, if you don’t use a “letter” format then they don’t actually have to be signed by anybody.

    Our letters name our head of service which has resulted in a few phonecalls being put through to him and direct complaints about his standard of assessment. 😳

    Our letters have the Head of Service as the signature but the assessor’s name as the contact details.
